Pipeline Rehabilitation and Relocation

Petroleum and natural gas are fluids that contain solid particles such as sodium chloride, potassium chloride, other salts, carbonates, sulfates, partially polymerized oils including wax and paraffin, as well as silicates, dirt and greases. Some of these particles are dissolved in the fluid, while others remain suspended.

Passing through pipelines at speeds of over 320 kilometers per hour, these particles become highly corrosion projectiles. Insulations designed to be applied to the interior of the pipes must be designed to withstand the high impact of these high-velocity particles.
